Representatives from 10+ companies will be accepting applications and resumes, and conducting on-the-spot interviews at Broadview University's first-ever Career Fair.
(MERIDIAN) Walk in with a resume; possibly walk out with a job. Broadview University is hosting its first-ever Career Fair on Wednesday, October 17, and the public is invited to attend.
Employers from companies such as Adecco, Express Employment, Panda Express, Primary Health, Axiom, and more have been invited to set up in the campus commons area at no charge. Representatives from these companies will be accepting applications and resumes, and conducting on-the-spot interviews.
“The goal of this career fair is provide a cost-free connection within our community,” Lisa Peterson, the Director of Career Services at Broadview University, said. “We are simply here to connect the public with employers and employers with the public—providing an invaluable networking opportunity.”
Other services will be available to job seekers such as free professional headshots, free resume critiquing, and a Frugal Fashion display which will highlight some of the business attire that can be purchased at a local consignment shop. Primary Health will also be offering and administering flu shots with most insurance plans being accepted for billing.
The Career Fair will be held at Broadview University from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. The campus is located at 2750 East Gala Court in Meridian. For more information, call (208) 577-2900.
