Students Update Medical Records for Friends in Need Animal Rescue

Whitney Anderson Visiting with Friends

Friends in Need Animal Rescue and Sanctuary has frequently been the recipient of service from Broadview Orem students. Friends in Need, in Eagle Mountain, Utah, provides care for all kinds of animals, from Yaks and Emus to Cats and Dogs. While many types of services have been given, some students from Global Citizenship saw a need and addressed that need.

Students Gina Reeder, Dawn Mitchell and Whitney Anderson had the goal to produce a census for the owners, cataloging all the dogs and cats, their medical status, immunization records, chip records, photos, and other pertinent information. This will not only provide valuable information for the owners, but will assist volunteers in future projects.

The partners were extremely grateful for this service. Thanks for the valuable service this students completed.
