Michelle Whitney and Friend
Student, Michelle Whitney started her Vet Tech program almost three years ago. She graduates this month. While she has loved her time here at Broadview University – Orem, and is sad to leave, her dreams are coming true. After just four weeks at her externship at the Payson Family Pet Hospital, she was offered full-time employment. Michelle was working 35 hours a week and completed her externship in eight weeks. She retires her maroon scrubs and dons her official staff scrubs on Tuesday, June 5th.
Michelle is married and is the fun loving mother of two boys and two dogs. She also moonlights as the night Library Assistant and as Administrative Assistant at the front desk. She is a writer and an actress playing many roles in local productions, including the Wicked Witch of the West in the Wizard of Oz. She has taught herself to speak with seven different accents.
It is with mixed feelings we let our graduates go but know that where ever they go, the world will be a better place.
